My Musical Evolution Through Meaningful Connections
Kris Berle Scandinavian pop musical collaboration – the full story about Amselcom’s new Artistverse

The moment I stepped into Oslo, something shifted. The city’s unique energy began to transform my musical journey in ways I never anticipated. The distinct Scandinavian pop landscape—melancholic yet minimalist, emotionally rich yet restrained—awakened something dormant within me.
Kindred Spirits in Sound
Meeting Greta Rosin and Aggie Frost has been nothing short of transformative. These incredible artists haven’t just influenced my sound—they’ve expanded my entire creative universe. Our connection transcends musical collaboration; we’ve found a shared language that speaks through melodies and emotions rather than words.
Remember “In My Bed,” my collaboration with ROSIN? That track emerged from my home studio in Mexico during a period of intense longing. I was missing someone in Norway, and those emotions poured into every note. What made it magical was how ROSIN brought her own emotional landscape to the song. Our separate vulnerabilities merged into something greater than either of us could have created alone.

From Dance Floors to Campfires
Have I left the pulsing energy of dance floors for the gentle crackle of campfires? Perhaps. Or perhaps it’s been a natural evolution—my ears gradually seeking something more organic, more intimate.
Don’t get me wrong—I still love the raw power of electronica, the hypnotic pull of a good beat. But lately, I’ve found myself drawn to different textures: the quiet power of landscapes, the small beautiful moments between people, the fragile and fierce stories of love.
Working with Greta opened doors to spaces where vulnerability leads, where melody gently replaces heavy beats. But this isn’t about abandoning one world for another—it’s about expansion, about refusing to be boxed into a single genre or sound.
Clashing Frequencies, Perfect Harmony
Dissonance is a collaborative track I created at my studio in Mexico City alongside Ōme. It came together through an open exchange of instruments and ideas, and the dissonant sound emerged in an unplanned, organic way. What we created was a blend of contrasting tones that somehow felt cohesive and emotionally charged. It’s that unexpected interplay between consonance and dissonance that gives the track its edge and reveals a more experimental, electronica-driven side of my sound.

New Horizons: Tromsø and Beyond
This winter in Tromsø brought a beautiful reconnection with Aggie Frost, an artist who continues to inspire me deeply. We’re currently crafting two tracks together, including one called “Young Hearts” that I can’t wait to share with you all.
Our story actually began last summer at Skogen near Lyngen Fjord, performing together under the midnight sun. That magical first meeting planted seeds that have continued growing into something truly special.
I was thrilled to introduce Aggie to nsiries, and watching their musical connection blossom has been a joy. Whenever I listen to Aggie’s “Perlemor,” I’m transported back to the north—that vast, quiet beauty and the stillness that somehow awakens everything inside.

Virtual Connections, Real Impact
Meanwhile, I’ve been collaborating virtually with Nsiries, an Italian producer whose lo-fi, easy-listening style brings warmth to even the coldest days. His remix of my track “Stranger” is just the beginning—his emotional depth aligns perfectly with my current creative direction.
A Season of Growth
Being immersed in northern landscapes while connecting with these incredible artists has expanded my creative universe beyond what I could have imagined. This season has been defined by meaningful connections—relationships rooted in music, place, and heart.
I’m endlessly grateful to be surrounded by artists who inspire me to keep evolving, to keep listening deeply, and to continue following the natural flow of my creative journey—wherever it might lead next.
Stay tuned for more collaborations, more explorations, and more stories to share. The journey is just beginning.
Moonlit Thoughts of You
Keep an Eye on You is a creation I dedicated to the Moon — that quiet, constant presence in the sky that has always stirred something deep in me. There’s a sense of longing I often feel when I look up — a desire to understand, to feel held by something bigger than myself. Singing became my way of reaching out, of connecting more intimately with the universe.
Skydrips sent me the base of the track, and as soon as I heard it, the vision began to take shape. I created the melodic synths and bass at Chris Schwarzwälder’s studio in Berlin — sounds that became the emotional backbone of the piece. Later, back in Mexico City, I developed the vocal part — letting the melodies and lyrics unfold like a dialogue between the Earth and the Moon.
The title Keep an Eye on You came to me as a way of expressing how I was thinking about someone — a quiet presence in my mind and heart, even from a distance. In a way, the Moon became a symbol for that feeling — always there, watching over, even when unseen.
The song became a conversation, guided by the light of a supermoon, visible to the eye. It’s about presence, stillness, longing, and the quiet guidance we receive when we truly listen.
