Every marketing submission requires an elevator pitch.
    This can also be considered a hype sticker or blurb.
    However you shake it, this is a staple item for a baseline pitch to any Digital Streaming Platform (DSP).

    The text has to be very meaningful. Your personal thoughts and intentions should appear here and provide a look behind the facade.
    Imagine you have a stall in a very busy market place. All stalls offer music, try to put into words why people should shop with you.

    What makes it special? Why does it stand out from others in your opinion?

    A suitable elevator pitch should include:

    • Background sentence about the artist

    • Minimum two sentences about the release (story, featuring artist or collaborator, what the track sounds like, similar artists/recommended if you like ..., etc.)

    • Sentence about the bigger picture. What's coming up next for the artist? Or engaging marketing drivers to support the release

    • Give DSPs a reason to care. What's the hook?
