Every marketing submission requires an elevator pitch, which is crucial for submitting to any Digital Streaming Platform (DSP).

The text has to be very meaningful. Your personal thoughts and intentions should appear here and provide a look behind the facade.
Imagine you have a stall in a very busy market place. All stalls offer music – try to put into words why people should shop with you.

What makes it special? Why does it stand out from others in your opinion?

You don’t need to write complete sentences – keywords are enough. We will create a new text out of them. Just the information is important.

In preparation of your next release, please also make sure to submit your upcoming gigs through our event submission form, so we can add them to our event calendar on the homepage and are aware about what you’re up to.

Have you released music on Amselcom within the last 3 months?

A suitable elevator pitch should include:

    • Background sentence about the artist. Are you a DJ or a Live Act? Maybe both, maybe neither?

    • Minimum two sentences about the release. What is the story? What does the track sound like? What is your connection to this track? What was special about the production process? We were not present during the production, so maybe there is something that is not obvious to the listener.

    • Sentence about the bigger picture. What's coming up next for the artist? What are engaging marketing drivers to support the release?

    • Give DSPs a reason to care. What's the hook? What makes your music special and unique? What sets you apart from other artists? What makes this track special from a technical standpoint? Maybe you used a special instrument or maybe you made it in just 3 hours?

    Example:
XX is an Italian DJ & Producer based in Bologna. Born and raised in Sicily, he was inspired by the sound of the sea and wind. His new single "YY" is the final part of XX's debut release series. "YY" is a hymn for love, playful lyrics and elegant sound design are what make XX's music special.
